Rules of the Game

    • Players will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-ups will be available here at the bottom of this web page.

    • Players will be assigned a team.

    • Each team will choose a representative to submit answers.

    • After given a Question Set (3 questions / 4 total sets), teams will be sent to their breakout room to converse and answer the questions.

    • Each team will get 3 minutes to compile their answers inside the breakout room.

    • When time is up, teams will come back to the main room and the representative will submit their answers via chat to the moderator.

    • No cheating! Because, there’s no fun in that!

    • There are 4 teams total.

    • Each team consists of 4 players.

    • You do not have to be in the same physical location.

    • You do not have to know each other (that’s part of the fun!)

  • Each player has an entry fee of $10.

    Why? For a good cause of course. Literally. The winning team will get to choose where they want all the entry fees donated. Folk Founded doesn’t keep a lick of it!

    Once you’re confirmed to be playing, you’ll be sent instructions on how to submit your fee via Venmo.

    • 0-10 | Meet & Greet
      For the first few minutes we’ll wait for everyone to join. Entry will be cut off 10 minutes after the event starts. We’ll also go over the rules!

    • 10-15 | Create Teams
      You’ll be assigned your team and you’ll be sent into your team room to ensure everyone is able to enter their team breakout room, see the presenter screen, and come back to the main room

    • 15-45 | TRIVIA
      Once the game begins, you’ll be given 4 series of questions and be sent into your breakout rooms after each set of questions is revealed. Once inside, you’ll have 3 minutes to converse, answer, and give your team captain the answers to submit to the host via chat. After all answers are submitted, the correct answers will be revealed and team points will be updated.

      • 15-25 | Set One

      • 25-35 | Set Two

      • 35-45 | Set Three

      • 45-55 | Set Four

    • 55 | Winners Announced and cause to donate winnings is chosen!

    • 60 | Farewell Friends

Trivia entry is $10 per person. Paying a small entry fee means we’re collectively able to donate to a non-profit or cause of the winning team’s choice!

Folk Founded doesn’t keep a lick of the entry fee money.
