I’m Kate–the human behind the screen.

I’m what’d you call a multi-hyphenate. Aren’t we all? I’m a wife, mom (x3), designer, podcast host, chronic dreamer, and hat-wearer (literally and figuratively).

But, if I’m being honest, the moniker I love the most is creative sidekick for your business (Shhhh—don’t tell my kids). KIDDING. Mom first, then creative sidekick.

When I started designing and developing websites, I saw my clients turn their frowns upside down. And that’s when I realized—

…And when you don’t—it stops working for you.

For many of my clients, their website was such a source of frustration. Their website platform was difficult to navigate, edit, or update, so they didn’t. Or they hired a web designer who ghosted post-launch and left no instruction manual behind. Or they bought a template and, boyo, was DIY a rocky road.

Whatever the frustration was, the results were the same—an abandoned website that wasn’t a true reflection of the brand they desired. And most definitely wasn’t helping them diversify their income, generate leads, and run their business.

This is why I shifted my focus to building websites that prioritize how they look AND function for BOTH my clients and their visitors.

So, here’s the thing—I used to hide the fact that I was a mom while I had my business owner hat on. Am I ashamed of being a mother? HELL NO. So why? I thought folks wouldn’t trust me or take me seriously if they knew I had a focus bigger than their design needs and, well, mommy brain.

I realize now how bogus that is. Because Moms. Get. Shit. Done.

I also realized there are millions of other moms out there navigating the same challenges I am. And, I wanted to talk about it. So, I am.
